Silversea Dining Information

As your ship changes latitude and longitude, Silversea's menu changes to reflect the flavors of the region. Step into The Restaurant and you know you've arrived for a very special dining experience. The Restaurant is elegant, but not stuffy. The European-trained waiters are attentive and personable. The inspired dishes, created by Silversea's Master Chefs, are marked by innovation and creativity. The Terrace Café offers the same culinary excellence in a more casual setting. Silversea's regular room service menu is available 24 hours a day with multi-course meals available from the Restaurant during regular dining hours.

Main Dining Room Policies: There is open seating on all Silversea cruises.

Dress Codes:

Classic Onboard Attire

Evening wear falls into two categories:

• Elegant Casual: On casual evenings, ladies may opt for trousers, a blouse, a skirt, or a casual dress, while gentlemen may wear an open-collar shirt and slacks. A jacket is optional.
• Formal Optional: May choose a more formal attire, such as an evening gown or cocktail dress for ladies and a tuxedo, dinner jacket, or dark suit with a tie for gentlemen. Alternatively, adhering to Elegant Casual dress code is welcomed, but a jacket is still required for gentlemen in all indoor spaces.

Regardless of the daily dress code:

• After 6 pm, indoor spaces prohibit jeans, shorts, sneakers, or flip-flop-type footwear.
• Casual wear is always suitable in outdoor venues.
• Gentlemen dining at La Dame restaurants are required to wear a jacket.

The number of formal evenings depends on the length of the voyage. A guideline for reference is below:

• On sailings of 7 days or fewer, Elegant Casual nights throughout.
• On sailings of 8-14 days, expect between 1 to 2 Formal Optional nights.
• On sailings of 15 days or more, expect 2 or more Formal Optional nights.

Expedition Onboard Attire

Onboard Silver Endeavour, Silver Cloud and Silver Wind:

Evening attire is always casual; open-neck shirts, trousers, and sports outfits are appropriate, with the exception that, jeans and shorts are not permitted in The Restaurant.

Beverage Policy: All beverages included throughout the cruise.

Special Requests: Special meals are available including low-calorie, vegetarian, no MSG, low/no sodium and low/no cholesterol meals, as well as sugar-free and fat-free desserts. With at least 75 days advance notification, Silversea can offer a selection of pre-packaged kosher meals to guests on all ships and itineraries.

All dining rooms onboard Silversea ships are smoke-free.
